- Stages can be used to change parameters of your system over time.
- To add a new stage, press the plus-button on the bottom left of the experiment builder. To navigate between stages, click the timeline at the bottom.
- Scene and particle settings, as well as particle emitters, do not change over time.
- All other components of your experiment (chambers, connector) can change from stage to stage.

The duration of this stage.
Record heat?
With this parameter you can decide whether or not heat exchange between the particles in the chambers and their surroinding should be registered. This is useful, for example, for efficiency calculations.

With this parameter you can decide whether or not work performed between the particles in the chambers and their surroinding should be registered. This is useful, for example, for efficiency calculations.
Enable reactions?
With this parameter you can decide whether or not chemical reactions can take place during this stage.
Other components
Chambers and connectors have some setting that can change over time. To change them, navigate to the stage and then to the component which you want to modify.
